Industrial Dial Wrench

The IDW series from Sturtevant Richmont is precise, reliable, durable, easy to read and intuitive to use. The anti-glare scale cover ensures good readability even in difficult lighting conditions. A robust protective cover for the scale glass prevents breakage.

The small IDW models with 1/4 inch square drive feature a black powder-coated handle, which provides a particularly durable surface. Models with 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch square drives feature a flexible neoprene handle. This ensures comfort and supports optimal hand positioning for maximum precision.

The large models with 3/4 and 1 inch square drive are fitted with a specially developed grip extension featuring a knurled aluminium handle. This provides both an ergonomic advantage due to the longer lever arm and shorter disassembled dimensions for space-saving storage.

Error-proofing by Design

The oversized dial is extremely easy to read and helps to prevent parallax errors. Most models feature a drag pointer which stops when maximum torque is reached, thus enabling a reliable torque reading. Instead of a memory pointer, the two larger models are equipped with an LED indicator.
